ALEX

The Alex Program stretches the students intellectual abilities. It is a great program to the students. As a professional, the Alex program will be used in my classroom to go beyond the basic educational courses.

ACCESS

Access is an awesome program. It gives students the opportunity to succeed. Access also responds to the special needs of the students. As a teacher, I will use Access.

Twitter

Twitter is an unique form of social communication. For the classroom, Twitter will not serve a purpose because of it's professional set up. It will be great for collegues. It it is a great tool to follow other collegues teaching methods.

Podcast

Podcasting for an educator is a good communication skill. As an educator, I will use the tool of podcasting. In the event of a planned absence, I would use a podcast to give instruction for the students and teach a lesson if necessary.

Blogging

As an educator, I perceive the Blogging tool as an useful tool in the classroom. As a teacher, I would use a blog as a tool of communication between the parent and teacher. For the student, it would be a tool to summarize the lesson for the day or week.

About Me

I am a freshman student at the University of South Alabama in the College of Education Department. I am a former student of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. I am pursuing a degree in Special Education with future endeavors to attain a Master's degree and Doctrine degree in Psychology. I also have a certificate in Program Management. My past experience in special needs is working for Millcreek; a center for individual with disabilities.
